旧約聖書出エジプト記で、神様はモーセに次のようにお命じになりました。

わたしのための聖なる所を彼らに造らせなさい。わたしは彼らの中に住むであろう。

（旧約聖書　出エジプト記25：8　新共同訳）

200年以上にも及ぶエジプトでの生活の間に、イスラエルの人々の生活は、彼らの父祖たちのものとは大きく違うものになってしまっていました。彼らには「出エジプト」の体験、すなわち「奴隷状態だったエジプトを出ること」が必要でした。そして、エジプトを出た彼らに神様は十戒を与え（出エジプト記20章）、神ご自身が彼らの中に住むための聖所を造るようにとお命じになったのでした。

聖所建設のための指示はかなり細かいものです。幕屋のサイズや材料などがこと細かに指定されています。実際の聖所を見たことのない私たちにとっては、いささかイメージしにくく、無味乾燥に思えてしまう箇所であるかもしれません。

しかし今週、この箇所を読んでいたときに、この「わたしのための聖なる所を彼らに造らせなさい。わたしは彼らの中に住むであろう。」という神様の言葉が心に響いて来ました。「あなたはあなたの生活の中に、そして心の中に『わたしのための聖なる所』を確保しているか？」と神様から問われているように感じたのです。神様がイスラエルの民に、そして私たちに「聖所を造りなさい」と言われた理由は明快です。「わたしは彼らの中に住む」（8節後半）ためです。神様は私たちと共に住もうとしてくださるお方です。あなたの生活の中に、そして心の中に、神様をお迎えするための「聖なる所」を用意しませんか？

God said to Moses.

 “Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them. “(Exodus 25:8 NIV)

After spending a long time in Egypt, the lives of the Israelites were different from those of their ancestors. They needed an experience of Exodus. After they left Egypt, God gave them the Ten Commandments. And then God ordered them to make a sanctuary. The order of God to make the sanctuary was fairly detailed. There are materials and sizes written in detail there. For us who have never seen the actual sanctuary, it may be boring.

However, when I read this word this week, there was something I felt in my heart. I felt God asks me. “Do you have a sanctuary for me in your life, in your heart?”

The reason why God told the Israelites and us “Make a sanctuary” is clear. That’s because “God will dwell among them”.

God wants to be with us. Will you not make a sanctuary for God in your life and mind? Let us greet God in our hearts.

「寒くなってきたので身体に気をつけてくださいね。」などと言っていましたら、なんと自分がインフルエンザにかかってしまいました。先週の安息日は教会を欠席して、たくさんの方々にご心配とご迷惑をおかけしました。病気になったときに思い出されるのは「病は身体だけでなく、心も苦しめる」ということです。私たちの身体と心には密接な関係があります。身体の調子が悪くなると、その影響が心にも現れます。逆に、身体の調子が良くなると、心も自然と前向きになることもあります。今回も布団の中で苦しみながら「心と身体はつながっているんだなあ」と強く感じました。

わたしの魂よ、主をたたえよ。主の御計らいを何ひとつ忘れてはならない。

主はお前の罪をことごとく赦し／病をすべて癒し

命を墓から贖い出してくださる。慈しみと憐れみの冠を授け

長らえる限り良いものに満ち足らせ／鷲のような若さを新たにしてくださる。

神様が私たちに約束してくださったのは「罪の赦し」と「病の癒し」です。身体が元気になるだけでなく、全ての罪責感から解放されて心の奥底から笑顔になれるような平安を与えてくださるのです。神様は私たちの心と身体がつながっていることをよくご存じだからです。あなたの心と身体が、いつも神様によって健やかでありますように。

I said to the people around me, “As cold days continue, please takecare your health.” However, I was infected with the flu last week. I remembered while suffering from high fever. Illness is not only to suffer with the body, but also to suffer the heart.

There is a close relationship with our body and mind. When the physical condition gets worse, its influence will also appear in the mind. On the contrary, if our physical condition improves, our mind will be getting positive.

² Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all his benefits—
³ who forgives all your sins
and heals all your diseases,
⁴ who redeems your life from the pit
and crowns you with love and compassion,
⁵ who satisfies your desires with good things
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s(Psalms 103:2-5 NIV).

God has promised us “forgiveness of sin” and “healing of sickness”. Not only will God heal our sickness, but God releases us from all our guilt and gives us true peace. Because God knows that our mind and body are connected. May your heart and body always be healthier by God.

「あなたがたのうちのだれかに友達がいて、真夜中にその人のところに行き、次のように言ったとしよう。『友よ、パンを三つ貸してください。旅行中の友達がわたしのところに立ち寄ったが、何も出すものがないのです。』

（新約聖書　ルカによる福音書11：5，6　新共同訳）

今週持たれた全国牧師会で、ルカ11章を何度も読みました。ここに登場するたとえ話の主人公は、旅の友人に何か食べさせてあげたかったのですが、何も持っていなかったので、他の友人の家を訪ねてパンを貸してくれるように必死にお願いし続けました。はじめは「夜中に迷惑だ！」と断られますが、彼があまりにしつこいので、友人は起きて彼が必要としているものを与えました。

私たちが何かを必死に求めるのは「自分には何も出すものがない」ということに気づいているときだけです。

誰かに神様のことを伝えたい！と思いながらも、しかし私たちは自分の力で人の心を変えることは出来ません。そのことを自覚し、残念に思いながらもしかし、自分はどれほど真剣に（しつこく諦めずに）神様に聖霊の注ぎを祈り求めてきただろうかと考えさせられました。

このたとえ話は私たちの祈りの姿勢に必要な3つのことを教えています。彼は「必死に」「切迫感」と、「期待感をもって」友人のためのパンを求めて戸をたたき続けました。イエス様はこのたとえ話をこのような素晴らしい約束の言葉で締めくくっています。

「このように、あなたがたは悪い者でありながらも、自分の子供には良い物を与えることを知っている。まして天の父は求める者に聖霊を与えてくださる。」（同11：13）

今年、まだイエス様を受け入れていない誰かの救いのために必死に、切迫感と神様への期待感をもって、聖霊の注ぎを祈り求めてみませんか。

And he said to them, “Which of you who has a friend will go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves, for a friend of mine has arrived on a journey, and I have nothing to set before him’;(Luke 11:5,6 ESV)

I have participated JUC pastoral meeting this week. It was so blessed. During this meeting, we had read Book of Luke 11 repeatedly.

In parable stories, he wanted to give food to his friends, but he did not have anything. So he visited another friend ‘s house and asked him “Please lend me three breads.”

At first he was refused by his friend. But, as he is too persistent, a friend gave it to him.

We only want to persist something when we are aware that we do not have it.

We wish to tell someone the gospel of Jesus Christ. But we cannot change mind of someone with our own power. I should have notice it. However, I have not kept asking God so diligently for Holy Spirit.

This parable teaches three things necessary for our attitude of prayer.

1. Desperation
2. Urgency
3. Expectancy

He kept knocking on the door in ask for bread for friends, with “desperation”, “urgency” and “expectation”. Jesus finishes this parable with words of such a wonderful promise.

If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!(Luke 11:13 ERV)

Let’s pray for ask the Holy Spirit. For to tell Jesus to someone who does not yet know Jesus.

テレビのCMなどを見ていると、「その商品を手に入れれば、自分はとても幸福な生活をすることが出来るのではないか？」という気分にさせられることがしばしばあります。しかし、実際にはどうでしょうか。あれほど欲しかったものを手に入れたのに、喜びはその瞬間だけで、やがてまた他のものに気持ちが向いてしまう、そのような経験を私たちは繰り返しています。

この1月から3月、私たちの教会では『スチュワードシップ（管理者の務め）』というテーマの学びをしています。先週の学びの中で、次の聖書の言葉を読みました。

金銭を好む者は金銭をもって満足しない。富を好む者は富を得て満足しない。これもまた空である。

（旧約聖書　伝道の書5：10　口語訳）

ドキッとさせられるような鋭い言葉です。人間のこのような性質は時代や洋の東西を超えて変わらないものなのだと聖書は鋭く指摘しています。

私たちが生きていくために、お金が必要です。しかしその必要なお金に心が執着し、お金が自分にとっての最優先事項になってしまうとき、私たちの心は本当の幸福から少しずつ、そして確実に離れていってしまうのです。神様は素晴らしい約束の言葉を私たちに与えてくださいました。そこには私たちが金銭に執着しなくてもよい理由がはっきりと書かれています。私自身、心が経済的な心配や物欲に支配されそうになるとき、この言葉を自分に言い聞かせたいと思います。

金銭を愛することをしないで、自分の持っているもので満足しなさい。主は、「わたしは、決してあなたを離れず、あなたを捨てない」と言われた。

When I am watching television commercials, I feel sometimes made to feel like “if I get this, I will be happy.” However, in fact it is only a short time to get it. And we will also want other things.

We are studying about “The Life of a Christian Steward” at Sabbath School lesson this term. I had read that Scripture last week.

Whoever loves money never has enough;
whoever loves wealth is never satisfied with their income.
This too is meaningless.(Ecclesiastes 5:10 NIV)

It is a very sharp and meaningful word. The Bible reveals the nature of us. It is common to us beyond the times and ethnic groups. Money is necessary for our lives. But when our hearts attach to money and money becomes the top priority for ourselves our heart gradually gets away from true happiness little by little.

God has given us the words of a wonderful promise. There is a clearly written reason why we do not have to cling to money. I would like to tell myself this word when my heart is likely to be dominated by economic worries and lusts.

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have,because God has said,

“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”(Hebrews 13:5 NIV)

そこで、わたしは言っておく。求めなさい。そうすれば、与えられる。探しなさい。そうすれば、見つかる。門をたたきなさい。そうすれば、開かれる。だれでも、求める者は受け、探す者は見つけ、門をたたく者には開かれる。（新約聖書　ルカ11：9，10　新共同訳）

新年、あけましておめでとうございます。今年もよろしくお願いいたします。

「一年の計は元旦にあり」と言われますが、どのように新年をスタートされたでしょうか？どのような目標を立て、またどのような初夢を見たでしょうか？

『広辞苑』によれば、「初夢」とは、「元日の夜に見る夢。また、正月2日の夜に見る夢」ということです。年の最初に良い夢をみると「今年はいい年になるかも？」という気持ちになります。2018年の「初夢」を見る機会は過ぎてしまいましたが、私たちは神様に祈り求め、「主にある初夢」を見ることが出来ます。

私たちはこの新しい年、神様に何を祈り求めるでしょうか。昨年参加した研修で「祈りのカード」が配られました。そこには「あなたが教会、そして天国で会いたい人の名前を書いてください」と書かれていて、5人の名前を書くことが出来るようになっています。その下には、次のような文章がありました。

「あなたは多くの祈りを通して、魂のために働く必要があります。これは、あなたが誰かの心に触れるための唯一の方法です」（エレン・ホワイト『伝道』（英文）431ページより）。

この一年間、誰かの救いのために真剣に祈り続けてみませんか。神様が私たちのその祈りに、私たちが想像することさえ出来ないような方法で応えてくださることを体験するのが私の「主にある初夢」です。

“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.(Luke11:9,10 NIV)

How is your New Year? What was the first dream of the New Year? And what is your New Year’s resolution?

When I participated CLAP program, I have received a card. It’s ‘Prayer card’.

It is written there.

‘Names of people I want to see in church and in heaven:’

“Through much prayer you must labor for souls, for this is the only method by which you can reach hearts.”Evangelism, p.341

Let us pray earnestly for the salvation of someone this year. My “dream in the Lord” is to experience what God responds to our prayers in ways that we can not even imagine.
